Bernardo was born in Medellin, Colombia. He grew up in Ecuador, Honduras and eventually moved to the American South. He met his wife, Katie at The Savannah College of Art and Design and he’s been telling stories with light and sound for a living since then. He’s part owner of a company called Caravan where he’s a director and cinematographer as well as head of production. He’ll talk to us about his history and the things that have impacted him and his perspective. We’ll hear about what it’s like to have a fully scalable company that takes on national and local projects and organizes talent around individual jobs. We’ll also discuss the value of place and human interaction and it’s impact on Bernardo’s life and work.
